"Hi everyone! I'm happy to show you my latest MOC, a Railway Service Vehicle!
The locomotive that I created is a two-axle, diesel-electric powered motor tower car and it is used for maintenance of the catenaries.
This MOC has two functions to make it playable: the pantograph can be raised and lowered through the elastic with the control placed under the right side, while the bridge tower can be raised and lowered through the gear placed under the frame and then rotated manually. The two functions and their mechanism are visible in the 9th photo.
The minifigures, taken from sets from the 90s, are a tribute to my first sets that fueled my passion for this theme; in some pictures they are shown at work to demonstrate the functioning of the locomotive.
The total dimensions of the diorama are 60 studs in width (the base is instead 50,4 studs), 30,4 studs in depth and 30 bricks in height.

Motrice in movimento
Con la motrice in movimento il pantografo è alzato per collegarsi alla catenaria ed utilizzare il motore elettrico mentre la torretta è in posizione di riposo
Motrice al lavoro
Durante le operazioni di lavoro il pantografo viene abbassato e la motrice funziona attraverso il motore diesel; la scaletta posta sul fianco sinistro delle locomotiva viene utilizzata per raggiungere il tetto e successivamente la torretta viene alzata e ruotata per avvicinare l'operatore alla zona di lavoro
