Da dove vieni e cosa hai studiato?

Sono tedesco e vivo vicino ad Hannover. Al momento non studio e probabilmente non lo farò nemmeno in futuro

Cosa fai, di cosa ti occupi?

Lavoro come responsabile del settore acquisti e recentemente sono passato al settore dei servizi IT

Cosa ti ha ispirato a diventare un costruttore LEGO?

Principalmente le MOC del Signore degli Anelli che ho cercato di ricreare

Da dove trai ispirazione per le tue creazioni?

Non saprei dirlo con precisione. A volte le idee arrivano spontaneamente, altre volte basta tenere gli occhi aperti. E ovviamente tutte le fantastiche MOC della community sono fonte di ispirazione

Qual è la tua creazione LEGO preferita tra quelle che hai realizzato finora?

Non ne ho una preferita. Mi piacciono (quasi) tutte

Qual è stata la sfida più complessa che hai affrontato come costruttore LEGO?

Non so se "complessa" sia il termine giusto, ma partecipare a LEGO Ideas e BDP sono state esperienze intense per me

Hai una tecnica preferita o un metodo particolare che utilizzi nelle tue costruzioni?

Sono molto versatile, non ho tecniche ricorrenti che preferisco. Ma i dettagli sono molto importanti per me

Quali temi o soggetti ti piace esplorare maggiormente nelle tue creazioni?

Essendo un appassionato di castelli e pirati, questi temi si ritrovano spesso nelle mie MOC. Tuttavia, mi piacerebbe costruire qualcosa di più grezzo rispetto alle creazioni disponibili nei set

Qual è il progetto più grande o ambizioso che tu abbia mai realizzato?

Ho costruito due MOC del Signore degli Anelli piuttosto grandi (Il Puledro Impennato e La Partenza dalla Contea). Ma bisogna scorrere parecchio per vederle. È stato molto presto, all'inizio, che ho iniziato a progettare qualcosa per me stesso

Quale consiglio daresti a chi vuole diventare un esperto costruttore LEGO?

Lasciati ispirare dalle tante fantastiche MOC, fai ricerche e leggi sulle tecniche di costruzione, migliorati MOC dopo MOC. E, cosa molto importante: inizia e divertiti!

Where are you from and what did you study?

I'm from Germany and live near Hanover. I'm not currently studying - and probably won't be doing so in the future either

What do you do, what job do you do now?

I'm professionally employed as a buyer, and I've recently transitioned to the field of IT services

What inspired you to become a LEGO builder?

Mainly Lord of the Rings MOCs that I tried to recreate

Where do you get inspiration for your creations?

I can't really say that exactly. Sometimes ideas just come to you, sometimes just by keeping your eyes open. And of course all the great MOCs in the community are also inspiring

What is your favorite LEGO work that you have built so far?

I don't have a favorite. I like (almost) all of them

What has been the most complex challenge you have faced as a LEGO builder?

I don't know if complex is accurate, but participating in LEGOIdeas and BDP were intense experiences for me

Do you have a favorite technique or a special method that you use in your constructions?

I'm very changeable, no recurring techniques that I prefer. But details are important to me

What themes or subjects do you like to explore the most in your creations?

As a Castle and Pirates fan, you can of course often find these themes in my MOCs. However, I would like to build more roughly than the creations that are available in the sets

What is the largest or most ambitious project you have ever made?

I built two Lord of the Rings MOCs that were relatively large (prancing pony & leaving the shire). But you have to scroll down a lot to see who you want to see it. It was very early after the beginning to design something for myself

What advice would you give to someone who wants to become an expert LEGO builder?

Get inspired by the many great MOCs, research and read about building techniques, improve yourself from Moc to moc. And very important: just start and have fun
