Ciao a tutti, sono Vaggelis. sono greco e ho studiato arti grafiche e design 3D

Lavoro nel settore dei videogiochi come senior character designer e artista 3D
Cosa ti ha ispirato a diventare un costruttore LEGO?
Fin da bambino, da quando ho memoria, ho sempre avuto mattoncini Lego nella mia stanza e la mia ispirazione è iniziata proprio in quei primi anni
Da dove prendi ispirazione per le tue creazioni?
I miei ricordi d'infanzia
Qual è la tua opera LEGO preferita tra quelle che hai costruito finora?
In particolare, ho tre set preferiti tra quelli che ho progettato: uno è Karate Kid, un altro è I Goonies e l'ultimo è Il Castello di Edward Mani di Forbice
Qual è stata la sfida più complessa che hai dovuto affrontare come costruttore LEGO?
La costruzione più complessa che abbia mai creato è la Galassia di Andromeda con il tubo flessibile. È stato estremamente difficile trovare la curvatura corretta per rappresentare polvere e stelle e ottenere la posizione che desideravo. È la costruzione più difficile che abbia mai realizzato
Hai una tecnica preferita o un metodo speciale che usi nelle tue costruzioni?
Non ho una tecnica preferita, di solito seguo il flusso di progettazione e i suoi requisiti
Quali temi o soggetti ti piace esplorare di più nelle tue creazioni?
Il mio tema preferito sono i pirati, anche se al momento non mi sto concentrando solo su quel tema specifico. Tutto ciò che riguarda questo tema mi ispira però
Qual è il progetto più grande o ambizioso che hai mai realizzato?
Il progetto più grande e ambizioso a cui ho lavorato è il Castello di Edward Mani di Forbice. Se non ricordo male, è composto da 8.000 pezzi e ci ho lavorato due mesi
Che consiglio daresti a chi vuole diventare un esperto costruttore LEGO?
L'unico consiglio che darei a chi inizia con i LEGO è di avere molta pazienza
Where are you from and what did you study?
Hello, I'm Vaggelis. I'm from Greece, and I have studied graphic arts and 3D design
What do you do, what job do you do now?
I work in the game industry as a senior 3D character designer and artist
What inspired you to become a LEGO builder?
From my childhood, as far back as I can remember, I always had Lego bricks in my room, and my inspiration began during those early years
Where do you get inspiration for your creations?
My childhood memories
What is your favorite LEGO work that you have built so far?
Specifically, I have three favorite sets that I've designed: one is The Karate Kid, another is The Goonies, and the last is Edward Scissorhands' Castle
What has been the most complex challenge you have faced as a LEGO builder?
The most complex build I've ever created is the Andromeda Galaxy with the flexible tube. It was extremely
challenging to find the correct curvature to represent dust and stars and achieve the position I wanted. It's the most difficult build I've ever made
Do you have a favorite technique or a special method that you use in your constructions?
I don't have a favorite technique, usually follow the design flow and its requirements
What themes or subjects do you like to explore the most in your creations?
My favorite theme is pirates, though I'm not currently focused on that specific theme. Everything about it inspires me
What is the largest or most ambitious project you have ever made?
The largest and most ambitious project I've worked on is Edward Scissorhands' Castle. If I remember correctly, it has 8,000 pieces, and I spent two months working on it
What advice would you give to someone who wants to become an expert LEGO builder?
